Oh yeah. I was getting them at Target. I told them the same when they informed me, "We've never carried extra tall kitchen garbage bags." I said, "Yes. They were Target brand. I bought the ex. tra. tall. gar. bage. can. here."
Stuff like that makes you wonder if you're being punk'd! I remember my Grandma asking for a particular type of shoes at the shoe store that she had been patronizing for, I don't know, 100 years, and her being told that they didn't carry them and never had. She told the whippersnapper that she had been buying her shoes there longer than he had been alive, but that didn't produce the shoes. She was so frustrated, she could have spit, she said. Ha-ha!
I wonder if this is going to play itself out like the run on gasoline. Maybe I should run to my Target now and buy all the e.t. garbage bags I can fit in my cart. People will see me, run do the same, wipe all the stores out. There will be signs on the shelves limiting the number of boxes other customers can buy...
You are NOT crazy. One of my local Targets carried the extra tall kitchen garbage bags and I would buy them like 10 at a time cause I freaking loved them. I was parnoid they were "testing" consumer interest in them. And that may have been the case, because that "one" Target no longer has them. I'm never in touch with mfgs about stuff but I am going to implore them to start carrying them again. They don't collapse into the can and you can lift them up when the can is nearly full and they give you and extra 4 or 6 inches above the rim. Stupid thing to love but I love them. Have just a few left in a box I had upstairs for dirty clothes...

Wal-Mart? I hate it when I can't find the right size trash bags!
Target has them, even carries their own brand of them. Good luck.
Hmm...I do not know. I don't think I have an extra tall garbage can. And I guess I should be thankful for that.

Two Targets. Same story. Hate.
